Just 2kms away is the small town of Vila do Bispo with its narrow winding streets and whitewashed cottages. Sit back and watch the local lifestyle over a beer or meal in one of its excellent restaurants, cafes or bars. Walk along or relax on one of the many uncrowded beaches within a short drive on both coasts. For the more energetic you can take a walk or cycle ride through the beautiful countryside of the National Park to the coast. Other old, rural villages dot the area, which are rich in historic sites, traditional restaurants and long, uncrowded, sandy beaches.
